Note: The footage comes from a car in motion. Also, the camera zooms in and out and attempting to overlay false objects into the video while maintaining the proper lighting and perspective would be a terribly difficult task. Especially when one considers it’s a YouTube clip with no financial motive.

In the “social experiment” to end all “social experiments”, a Minnesota father claims he put his computational linguistics Ph.D. to good use by speaking Klingon—and only Klingon—to his baby. Yes, for the first three years of its life, this kid was subjected to in-real-life parental trolling. The story doesn’t explain why the experiment was stopped, but apparently it ended too soon to produce any lasting effects. The child, now a teenager, does not speak a word of Klingon.

Despite the potential disaster for the poor kid in the experiment, I find this story oddly comforting. A world where everyone speaks Klingon involves Blood Wine at the dinner table. And I’m okay with that.

UN Security actively censors journalist during a press conference when an inconvenient question is posed regarding leaked emails.

Of course, there’s simply too much money and momentum driving the warming fallacy for truth or integrity to worm its way to the surface. Rome buckles as the plebes cast doubt on its divinity. Do hollow columns support the weight of the empire? If by our faith alone it yet stands, then in our absence may it seek and find its rightful obsolescence.

Norway Spiral Update:

A nearly identical spiral appeared in China. The video was posted on in April of 2009. Wade in 35 seconds for the spiral. Russian missiles and space debris re-entering Earth’s atmosphere do not make sense at this point. I’m intentionally ignoring the rumors flying about Obama’s UFO disclosure initiative coinciding with his acceptance of the Nobel Peace Prize — yet there is now and was chatter regarding the idea prior to the Norway Spiral event. What do you make of it?
